In fact, according to the book Microtrends, 4.2 million Americans work from home exclusively.
Nelson continues, “The problem is that because this trend goes against most conventions, sometimes people are skeptical of those who work from home, even to the point of being critical. That’s why I decided to start a website that addresses some of these issues in a lighthearted way.”
WorkAtHomeWear.com seeks to inspire people to be proud that they work from home.
“By providing t-shirts and other merchandise with witty sayings it gives people a way to lighten up the mood when asked what they do, instead of feeling like they need to defend themselves from people who don’t understand that people who work from home are actually working, and making nice amounts of money,” said Nelson.
